Master of Magic: A GEM!

Simply the best oldie! A must for anyone who likes strategy games. If you want to check out 'newer' versions of this game I'd recommend Age of Wonders 1 and 2. A gem! Also very simple to get it to work... download DOSBox... You can find lots of instructions on that elsewhere.

X-COM: UFO Defense Collector's Edition:

For those who love this game, (and why wouldn't you!) you should also check out Incubation. For someone reason it doesn't draw you in quite like the UFO series, but a decent newer version of the concept.

Emperor of The Fading Suns:

Has anyone managed to get it working on Windows 7 without doing a virtual machine? It's one of those games that is new enough not to work with DosBox, and too old to work on Win7.

Bridge Deluxe II with Omar Sharif: Could have been better

To be honest, I expect this game to be better, with the endorsement and all. Both the bidding and playing pretty much on the beginner level, sometimes worse. For example, it has this strange tendency to make an opening lead in the trump suit against a trump contract AND does not lead the fourth ...

Grim Fandango: A powerful adventure that should be enjoyed for its outstanding atmosphere!

The Ninth Underworld is a dangerous place: killer fire beavers, corrupt officials and sprout guns at that, welcome to, Grim Fandango. When I played through this game I couldn't help but notice the amazing sound in this game. It has such a nice jazzy feel and it always sets the mood for the right...

No Greater Glory: Exceptional Game

From choosing and balancing, your cabinet, your generals, which chunks of the Constitution to void (not to mention the military decisions), through living with the consequences of those decisions; this game has the tension and re-playability that mark a great wargame. Victory Games "The Civil W...

V for Victory: Market Garden:

This game plays very similarly to Victory Game's "Hell's Highway". Gives a good feel for this huge operation. For a DOS game, the graphics are exceptional. And, unlike many pre-Win7, windows based games, this one can still be played using DosBox.
