All the best games you remember and the golden games you might have missed
Simply the best oldie! A must for anyone who likes strategy games. If you want to check out 'newer' versions of this game I'd recommend Age of Wonders 1 and 2. A gem!
Also very simple to get it to work... download DOSBox... You can find lots of instructions on that elsewhere.

For those who love this game, (and why wouldn't you!) you should also check out Incubation. For someone reason it doesn't draw you in quite like the UFO series, but a decent newer version of the concept.

Has anyone managed to get it working on Windows 7 without doing a virtual machine? It's one of those games that is new enough not to work with DosBox, and too old to work on Win7.

This game plays very similarly to Victory Game's "Hell's Highway". Gives a good feel for this huge operation. For a DOS game, the graphics are exceptional. And, unlike many pre-Win7, windows based games, this one can still be played using DosBox.
