Lost City Golf Club: Championship course with a view

This is the best Golf Course I have played on in South Africa with the comgination of challenge and scenery. The only negative factor is that one needs to use carts due to the distance between the tees.

Wingate Park Country Club: Old faithful

In my Golf Course Review Wingate Golf Course is an old school Parkland course, and is a bit one dimensional. It doesn't really have spectacular scenery, and I found some of the holes a bit tight. The greens are a nice challenge. Worth playing.

Irene is one of the nicest courses in Pretoria to play with fantastic Geography and most of the holes run along the river. Another highlight is the pulpit which finds the tee way above the green and the Golfer need to judge the shot to perfection with a narrow gree...

This is a really nice course to play with some amazing views and some really tough holes. The greens are very true and very large as opposed to the other green sin Pretoria so expect a few three putts.

Wanderers Golf Club: Established Parkland in the heart of Johannesburg

This is a very well established Parkland Course with loads of history, it is best to stay straight as any wayward drive will be punished. Great greens bit most of them are prettr difficult to get to and once on them the have a lot of subtle breaks.

Waterkloof Golf Club: Waterkloof Golf Club needs attention

Course not in good condition. Greens have to many slopes and makes putting like a putt-putt course. Some rough areas are not covered by any grass and play is off bare areas full of stones etc. Distances can be more user friendly without much additional effort.
