This is a great kit. I will definately make it again. THis is my wifes favorite red I have made so far. Of course the Cellar Craft Amarone is still aging so let see if she keep s that opinion after we start drinking it! The finished wine is nicely balanced. Still benefits from some decanting ...

As mentioned above both the barrel and hole were small. But its no biggy, just grabbed a drill and made the hole bigger. If you make wine you have GOT to get a barrel, it will take your wine to another level!

This is the book that started me on the road to winemaking. A friend of mine who ownes a winery recommended it, he was right on!

This is a great kit. I am still bulk aging this kit but have stolen a taste or 2 here and there... this kit is fantastic! I highly recommend this kit. The only reasons I did not recommend this for a first kit are
1) It needs to age and who wants to age thier first kit!?!?
2) It has a BIG grap...

These guys have been there and done that. They are a wealth of knowledge for both beer and wine making. I really like thier onsite winemaking service. I get to make the wine but dont have to buy the equipment or find the room in my house. I do wish they carried more than just WinExpert but i ...

This is another great book for beginners as it covers making wine from both concentrates and from fresh grapes.

This is a great books that covers all the basics. Great book to get one started making wine and/or growing grapes.
