A lot of people go paddle boarding or bring in jet skis at this beach since the water is so calm, but when it rains a lot there is a lot the water gets murky from all the run off.

This is one of the must stops if you are traveling along the Hamakua Coast. The hike is only about 30 minutes but you will get to see one of the nicest waterfalls up close.
Here is a tip for all tourist please make sure you do not leave valuables in your car.

I love this beach for body boarding. During the summer season the waves pickup. I would not recommend this beach to beginners as it also considered on of the most dangerous beaches in Hawaii.
