Peaceful and quiet, but it was out of season. Lovely little dam in the river to swim in. Sadly there is not a blade of grass to be seen anywhere, just sand to camp on.

Fantastic place to use as a base. Lots of shade, we experienced little or no wind, while the wind was pumping in Strand and Somerset West over a period of two weeks. Highly recommended!
